The main themes of the camp include building, meeting, learning and taking action. You will learn how to live more sustainably through the various workshops and hands-on activities. Depending on how high you set your standards, you might have a long list of preferred earth friendly amenities. If you do set the bar high when it comes to choosing a green hotel, wouldn’t it be convenient if the hotel had a green score for you to refer to?

I did a quick search for green hotels in Boulder, Colorado-my favorite state to visit-and came up with three matches: St. Julien Hotel and Spa, Hotel Boulderado and Boulder Outlook Hotel and Suites. Right from the search results, I can see that Hotel Boulderado scored two branches, because they have amenities such as recycling, organic food, re-usable service items, water conservation, etc. I’ve always thought about staying in this hotel, but the two other hotel options received four Green Branches so I might stay at one of these hotels on my next visit.
Even if you choose not to sort by green hotels, the hotels with green amenities will still come up in the same search results as a normal hotel search.
