Hands on Healing
When children or adults get hurt, they typically hold the injured part or have someone do the same to make the pain go away. This technique helps somewhat, but maybe we have lost our innate ability to heal. A healing technique called Reiki uses the unlimited universal life-force energy, which is available and accessible to all living things. It’s a gift we all have, but most don’t know how to tap into it.
During a Reiki session, the practitioner will focus on the universal energy and transmit the energy through his/her hands into the client’s body. Only if the client is a willing participant and permits the healing to happen, will the reiki heal the body down to the cellular level.
Classes are offered for people to become Reiki Masters and/or Teachers. If you’re a parent, these classes are a wonderful opportunity to help your child have another tool in their toolbox. After all, you never know what life will throw at you. Or if your children are pets, it’s a great treat for them too!
Reiki isn’t witchcraft or something you should be afraid of. It’s an alternative form of treatment that everyone should try, especially if you’re wary of putting unnecessary chemicals into your body to treat a problem. Also this healing technique is now being used on a global scale to heal the universe and promote peace.
