Amazing Animals
I have three cats, and I’m impressed by many of the things that they do. For example, Lily (the mama cat) likes to clean off her paws by dipping them into her water bowl. Bella (the baby girl cat) can carry things in her mouth (hair ties, eyeglasses, rocks, etc.), which she strategically steals and carries back to her food dish as if they were treasures. Oliver B. (the baby boy cat) is as loyal as they come, because he always comes when I call him. The point I’m trying to make is that animals are very intelligent, more intelligent than some of us give them credit for.
Even sea animals can be quite amazing too. Check out an octopus who is a master at self-defense at http://radthoughts.com/2007/02/01/octopus-tool-use/. It uses a clamshell as armor and jellyfish tentacles as stinging swords to fend off predators.
